When we started looking for a piano teacher for our son (8 yrs. old), we interviewed 5 or 6 different teachers around town. We were looking for someone with infectious enthusiasm for him since he's generally pretty reserved about trying new things. After about 30 seconds of talking with Mandee, I knew we found "the one!" She's so patient and encouraging with him, and it's been wonderful to watch him grow in his abilities and confidence. Mandee must take a bath in bottled fairy dust each morning, because each time she starts a lesson with him (aboard the Starship Enterprise via her cool ZOOM backgrounds, mind you), he immediately starts smiling! My two daughters started taking lessons from Mandee a little over a year ago.  Despite having to transition into online classes about nine months into working with Mandee, they have made tremendous progress in both their piano playing and understanding of music theory.  They both look forward to their weekly lessons and enjoy practicing.  Mandee keeps the assignments and lessons motivating and fun as well as productive.
